Please...Stop! 8)
Don't do that.
Chili!Soft ASP comes with Access and MySQL support built in. All the drivers
you need are included in the package.
To address Access 2000 connectivity, send an email to tech@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and
they'll get back to you pretty quick with comprehensive instructions on how
to do it. Bear in mind, your M$ databases will *still* have to reside on a
NT/Windows machine while your RaQ+ASP hooks into it.
For MySQL connectivity, make sure you have the client and shared RPMs
installed on the same RaQ that has ASP, to enable connectivity to the MySQL
server (which can be on localhost or some other host).
Also, realize that the RPM install of MySQL-3.22.32-1 (current stable
version) specifies /var/lib/mysql as the data directory. Use df to confirm
that you are going to have sufficient space to hold your databases in that
volume. Otherwise, a quick fix could be making a symlink from /var/lib/mysql
to some place on /home - or ideally, change the data dir to some path on
/home.
