i agree (and don`t understand all the time people are putting in this
thread).

i don`t have an english spell checker (tried once to install one on a
german netscape 4.7, then i reinstalled netscape...), and won`t use one.

i have enough problems in german; we here in germany (government,
universities) have nothing more important to do than change our
spelling, stamp new dictionaries etc. 
after one year, we note that this wasn`t the best idea of the century
and that maybe we should return to the old way (throwing away the new
dictionaries etc.). some anarchistic elements like an unknown young
lawyer (guess who) said that from the beginning, but no one took
notice...
