RE: [cobalt-users] Function of second ethernet port on Raq3i

The second ethernet port can be used to have the Raq3i on 2 separate
networks which different IP structures and subnets. Yes, you can set up your
Raq3 on a dedicated line and your local network. This would require a router
and hub (some routers these days have built in hubs).

Subject: [cobalt-users] Function of second ethernet port on Raq3i

Hi,

I have got a question which may seem to be VERY stupid, but I can't help
myself, sorry for that :)
The Cobalt Raq 3i has got 2 ethernet ports while the Raq 3 has got one.
My question is if it's possible to hookup my Raq 3 server to a dedicated
line while it also is on my network. I am hoping that this is possible
via a hub, but I can't seem to find the answer that clears all my
doubts.

Thanks in advance,

Niels Schenk
