Greetings Graeme,

We had the same experience with an ISDN modem on our Qube II.

Eventually, we switched to an ISDN Router, (NetGear RT 338) and 
solved all of our problems.  The network, and the ISDN line, is very 
stable.  The router didn't cost much more than the original ISDN 
modem.
