Question
My CobaltRaQ is giving me this error message when I try to retreive e-mail
from one user's e-mail account: The mail server responded: System error,
can't open temporary file, do you own it?
Response
Telnet to your RaQ, and once you log in to your RaQ, type:
cd /var/spool/mail
then type:
ls -la
If you see a file with the user's username and a '.pop' at the end of
it, delete it. eg: .username.pop
Most likely you'll need to be root so type :
su
and then type in your admin password. Then you should be able to delete
the file.

I've deleted the .username.pop file but as soon as I goto pop the account
it recreates itself.
Is there anything else I can do other then just deleting the .username.pop
file? how is it created in the first place?
Any one know anyway to fix this problem? and can you please cc a copy to
benjamin@xxxxxxxxxxxx because the email with the problem is the one on the
cobalt emailing list, so I cant retrieve mail :)
