RE: [cobalt-users] DNS and 3rd party mail servers...

We use outbridge.com. I would suggest that you have the correct mail server
in outbridge's records. All the DNS does is redirect the browser to their
server. When you log in it tries to find your mail server. So, if you are
getting the logon screen then your DNS is correct but your profile with
Outbridge may not be.

Subject: [cobalt-users] DNS and 3rd party mail servers...

I'm a newbie just starting out with my RAQ3. I set up the most of the A
records and MX records fine. However, I want to use a 3rd party add-on tool
for web-based email (Outbridge.com). It said to add:

home.radbar.net IN A 206.blah.blah.blah

I added an A record for it (Mail works fine outside of this). I get a login
screen but it is not finding the user.....Is this just an A record? I am
about to order some good books (so I know where to even FIND files on the
RAQ3)...but 'til then, am lost. Any help is appreciated! Also, any
suggestions for good books?

Kel
