Hidden shares will add protection to your office's internal backups.
It's a good idea to make the share a windows-hidden share, with a
non-standard Sharename.
Here's a good example:
\\Machinename01\Backup000728$
Giving a windows share a sharename with a $ at the end makes it un-viewable
from Network Neighborhood, for instance, so your other snoops in the office
don't get to the share, since they won't know its there. It won't show up as
a shared resource in \\Machinename01. Printers and drives, as well as shared
folders, can be given a sharename with the ending $ to make it "hidden".

Yes, the machine name goes where 'windowspc' is.
