[cobalt-users] Reset root passwd

I had lost my admin password on a raq2. I reset it using the front panel,
now I cannot su to root. I even changed the password using /usr/bin/passwd
but still cannot su to root. The admin passwd works fine. Please help how to
get back root passwd.
