If you left all the webaliser defaults as they were, your cron process will
generate the next set of reports at 4.20am in the morning. You can su to
root at any time and just run webaliser.pl from the shell, it will generate
a set of files there and then. Apache starts resolving the names as soon as
you restart it, you can tail the logs and see it doing so.
I did all of this on my RaQ3 this morning, works a treat. I went round and
created .htaccess files for the stats directories for some of my sites as I
don't want everybody having access to them.
Why didn't Webaliser come as standard with the RaQ? Its way better than the
shipped tools.
Does anyone know a webaliser-like tool that reports on email logfiles? I
would like decent traffic analysis for mail too.
