What do auto-responders have to do with the issue? Or am I missing something?
(probably - I am new at this also).
It has been my experience, and I have warned my clients that if they have
forwarding turned on, they must periodically download their email with an email
client that deletes the messages from the server. If they don't their email will
fail when the size of the email file becomes 2 * their free disk space! In which
case they will have to pay a fee to fix it!
