<html>

<body>

<? phpinfo(); ?>

</body>

What happens when you put

<? phpinfo(); ?>

into a file called phpinfo.php3 and you call it from a web browser?

Does it just display the "<? phpinfo(); ?>"?

If so it probably doesn't have the handler set up to parse a .php3 file as a
PHP3 file.
