First off, I searched through the archives and couldn't find a solution to my question. I appologize in advanced since I'm sure this must have been addressed.
I have a RaQ3 to host my multiple sites and want to use name based hosting. I have the server set up with the original domain (domain1.com).
I've tried setting up a second domain (domain2.com) but I can't get to the site. Here is the setup so far in DNS maintenance.
Domain1.com
I added the address records so that:
domain1.com resolved to IP1
www.domain.com resolved to IP1
etc. for the ftp/mail/etc.
Also I have a reverse address record for the IP address to domain1.com
Domain2.com
I added an Address Record so that
domain2.com resloves to IP1
domain.com resloves to IP1
Further, the registration info for domain2 has propogated. Can anyone assist in determining why the site domain2 cannot be accessed? (Domain1.com can be accessed fine.) (Of course I created the virtual account).
I don't think I need a PTR record for domain2.com. I've read that only one PTR for each IP address.
Am I missing a step?
Thanks in advance for any help.
