You'll need to change the owner of the CGI script to a valid user of the site. (I always use the site administrator.)

If you're using admin to do everything, that's a bad habit to get into. You'll run into FTP problems once you bypass 32 sites.

read http//users.iol.it/hpstr, and post a concrete  error message. try
first  with .cgi extention (read that as a hint, i didn`t try if  it
makes the difference)
