If you're just interested in web traffic, I suggest looking at Webalizer. It's free
and it does what you want and more. You can also configure it to analyze FTP logs if
you'd like. http://www.webalizer.com/. This probably isn't the best solution, but
if you rotate your maillog monthly you can run mreport from the commandline against a
domain and capture the mail traffic month to date or for a month at a time if you
look at rotated logs. I grabbed it on freshmeat.net a while ago.
