RE: [cobalt-users] RaQ3 - Cap kernel bug and exploit...



If you went to the Cobalt site and read the text under the patch link you
would see:

"Solves a problem that was introduced with the kernel update included in
RaQ3-Update-OS-3.0. The symptom was that the DNS server would not start if
the machine was assigned more than sixty IP addresses."

It seems pretty clear that it is safe for boxes upgraded on the OS3.

So this patch is safe to install on a RaQ3 that has already had the
RaQ3-en-OSUpdate-3.0.pkg installed?
