This may be a Cobalt "feature".
My Raq3i has 128 MB RAM.
When I view "System Status -> Memory Status" I see:

"Total memory on the system is 259576 KB 
Free available memory is 214144 KB 
Used memory is 45432 KB which is 17 percent of the total memory"

Now, 128KB is 131,072 bytes and so how does Cobalt make it 259,576 bytes?
