Hello Mister Evans. I'm sure Theo appreciates your 
coming to his rescue, but the fact that you ignore 
is that the post was not directed *at* Theo. The 
original reply was intended to be tongue-in-cheek. 
In hindsight, I would replace the word "you" in the 
first sentence with a less directed noun in order to 
prevent what has regrettably ensued.

It is not my fault that Theo took the message as some 
sort of vicious personal attack and reverted to the 
whining oaf he has made himself out to be. But if 
lambasted in a public forum, it is a person's right 
to reciprocate in the same manner. 

So get off your high horse Mister Evans. No need to be 
a supercilious old coot  ;^>

This mailing list is not the place for broadcasting abuse.  It is the place
for being helpful, and your comments appear specifically designed to
inflame.

If you really must abuse someone asking for help, then do it off the list
and don't inflict you rubbish on the rest of us.

I must apologise to the rest of the list for this little outburst of mine.
But let us please not clutter things up with unhelpful comments.
