If you have only one physical server, then there is only one(primary) dns
server. The IP of the secondary is just an alias for the primary one.

Since you said you are new to this, I suggest you to create a virtual site
and follow to set up e-mails rather than going hard way in the beginning;
and you hardly lose much by doing so.
