RE: [cobalt-users] Flushing mail queue

I saw that in the man pages but I didn't think that was what I wanted.. I
wanted to trash all mail sitting in the Q.. not try to send them again
now.. and thats how I read the man pages.. thats what the -q switch would
do.. force the queue now.. to process.. They were permanent bouncers from a
huge mailing I did.. I knew they'd never get delivered.. so I wanted to
just dispose of them

Would simply removing the files from:
/home/spool/mqueue/
have accomplished this??

right now there are 8 messages sitting in that directory but when I do
sendmail -bp it shows only 3 mails in the queue.. all deferred for one
reason or another..
