AW: [cobalt-users] RAQ2 DNS GUI problem

we had the same problem on a raq2+ last x-mas.
cobalt didn't react on the mail i've sent.
we had to reconstruct every single dns record (tip: deactivate the
gui-perl-script, otherwise it will happen again).
the same thing can happen to your email config.
before one week we lost the whole configuration of the mail-server. the
cobalt support (NL) hasn't helped us.
so we lost much money.

there are many other bugs in this machine... so guys..keep your eyes open...
and try to have backups (have you tested to restore a 200MB backup file...
it wont work on our raq.. because the software is buggy... but that's
another story..)

greetings

steven

Betreff: [cobalt-users] RAQ2 DNS GUI problem

Copying by hand using the GUI (!) one by one the DNS records from a RaQ1
to a RaQ2, i got a problem at number 100 or so: all the entries i was
doing became corrupted (some lines disappeared, some others have been
duplicated). The server i was copying the DNS entries to has no
activity, not a single site yet, 80 meg RAM and all patches applied.

I send this email because this problem already occured: one of our
customers got exactly the same problem on the same kind of box. We
thought he made some mistake and we did not pay attention to this...

But it seems there is a bug here.
