[cobalt-users] mounting the raq2 HD

Well.. depsite all my efforts Ive decided to put a new HD into the Raq2 and start over. I have the original HD mounted in a linux (mandrake) machine and can access

/dev/hdc1   -   > system (bin etc)
/dev/hdc2   -   >
/dev/hdc3   -   > system (var etc)

My /etc/fstab reads;
/dev/hdc2 /mnt/cobalt-p2 ext2 defaults 1 1

As you can see.. neither of these help me until I can mount /dev/hdc2 which contains all the actual data. But when I try to mount it I get 'Bad Superblock'  Is it still ext2?

The raq has restored fine, I just need to pull the data of the original raq HD  so I can recreate the subdomains and user directories and fill them again.

I would have done this with a normal GUI backup but you all know how buggy that thing is. All it does is tarball it anyway then create mess on your new machine. I dont recommend it and I dont know anyone that does.

Cheers,
