It's possible they already set that up...
Did you try creating a domain on one of those
IP addresses? What happened when you did?

Subject: [cobalt-users] Add Class C to RaQ3i
Hi
We have just installed a RaQ3i at the ISP server farm. The ISP has
assigned ip=196.31.3.35 to the RaQ. They have also given a full class
C range 196.7.31.0 - 196.7.31.255
They gave me a command to enter in
/sbin/ifconfig eth0 alias 196.7.31.0 netmask 255.255.255.0
The response I get is
alias: Unknown host
Being a complete Newbie what must I do so the RaQ3i will be able to
utilise the additional ip range?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
James
