Try searching the archives (use the URL at the bottom of every email to get there).

Yes. Create unique usernames and then create aliases for email addresses you want.
My usernames look like g1120019.
g identifies my server
112 identifies the site number
0019 identifies the user for that site
Then I use catchall aliases or indivual aliases like steven, webhosting, etc. This
way I can have 'steven' as an alias on as many sites as I like, but I don't have to
worry that another user on another site already created a username 'steven' which may
intercept email intended for 'steven' on other hosts on the same server.
