you could (for example) put it onto your main site, and then call it
with it`s full url from the other sites.

what do you want to use ? c ? the general procedure for that is make -
make clean - make install.

i know very few cgi programs written in c, the most ones are in perl,
which does not need to be compiled (it does, but it is compiled directly
before execution by the interpreter)
