[cobalt-users] OT: RM command not working.

Sorry if this is stupid question:

But I have a unix directory that has a shit load of files in it and 
if I try to:

rm -r *

the directory it gives me a error:

/usr/bin/rm: arg list too long

I tried to delete the directory, but it tells me that it's not empty.

So.  How do I delete the files in the directory?
