[cobalt-users] Re: Adding block of IP addresses to RAQ3

Hi,

Maybe I'm lookin at this too simple. What I do is set up a site with the IP and point the DNS
to it. Done. The ISP has given those IP's to you already. All you need to do is use them :)

Subject: [cobalt-users] Adding block of IP addresses to RAQ3 purchased from Host Provider?
Reply-To: cobalt-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello fellow cobalt users,

I hope someone has an answer to the following question!

I purchased a block of 50 IP addresses from my IHP (Internet Host Provider)
and was given a range of IP addresses (xxx.xxx.120.129 to xxx.xxx.120.174)
as well as the gateway xxx.xxx.120.1 and the Netmask 255.255.248.0 but no
means by which to setup the cobalt RAQ3 to point to them. My eth0 uses a
different gateway and a different netmask.

I searched Cobalt site for days as well as the user list to no avail. My IHP
is under the impression that this information is already built in the Cobalt
but nothing is working.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is this a failing of the RAQ3 or a failing in
documentation!
