[cobalt-users] Raq3 HTTP log errors

There is an OS update (3) from cobalt for the Raq3. I have installed it,
hoping it would take care of the trouble but I still have the same daily
error:

errors occured while rotating /var/log/httpd/access

error running prerotate script --
leaving old log in place

and weekly (cron.weekly) error: (new flavor. post update....yippie.) :\

An attempt to do  "/usr/local/sbin/split_logs web < /var/log/httpd/access"
still yeilds "broken pipe" error,  :(  and I'm out web statistics for over a
month for quite a few websites.
I plan on sending another e-mail to cobalt (/dev/null) later today in hopes
that I'll find some eventual resolve, but has anyone been through these
troubles, and better yet....does anyone have an answer!!?!?
