[cobalt-users] Could not find a web server - aye caramba

It's me again... sort of the same problem different twist.

 

The error message I get when I try to publish with Frontpage is

"Could not find a web server at 'www.inforlife.net'.  Please check to make

sure that the web server name is valid and your proxy settings are set correctly.

If you are sure that everything is correct, the web server may be temporarily down."

 

I can publish to exising old sites setup with frontpage. But any new one... I can't.

I un-installed an re-installed frontpage extensions for the site www.inforlife.net, and I monitored

it via telnet (looking at the .cnf file) - a clean un-install and re-install. The DSN is all good and setup

properly.  My httpd.conf file has nothing special, only a few sites installed.  I did not touch the .htaccess

file.  I can restart the web server via telnet ok... no problems or errors came about.

 

I would appreciate any assistance...
