Is it also okay if I upload the file to e.g.
/home/sites/www.mysite.com/users/florian/packages/file.pkg
and then enter
http://www.mysite.com/~florian/packages/file.pkg
in the UI. Doesn't this cause problems when the server installs the
update from itself?
