Use pico -w filename as this will turn off line wrapping.

before you use pico, do a "man pico", there is an extension, I think -l that you use to prevent wrap.
If you don't, you could really mess up some of your configuration files if you edit them.

PICO is already installed on your RAQ. Usage = pico filename
