Hi,

I've been using a Mac and a PC for downloading files via FTP from a RaQ.  Uploads are
the same speed with both PC and Mac,  but when I download with the  the PC, I get
speeds of 4500 bytes per second.  With the Mac, it drops down as low as 32 bytes per
second, which makes it pretty impossible.  I've tested it by doing exactly the same
files, using exactly the same connection, and by using both an FTP client and FTP in
a browser, and it's always the same.  

Any ideas, other than ditching the Mac ?
