[cobalt-users] Strange Problem in Network Neighborhood

It's a confusing day in the Neighborhood...

We have about 10 PC's on our LAN, all running Windows, with a Qube2 as the
server. Starting today, about half of those PC's can no longer access
anything through the Windows Network Neighborhood. All evidence indicates
that the network connections are sound, as these PC's can still access the
Qube's Web and Email services, and can still connect to mapped network
drives. The problem PC's can still access the public and administrator
sites as well. But in NN, these PC's can't even see themselves.

For the PC's that can use NN, only the non-problem PC's show up. Among the
absent machines is the Qube, along with its workgroup.

I would think that this was an individual configuration problem, except that
it's happened to so many users at once. Could this possibly be related to
the Qube's file sharing services? The Qube claims that the SMB server has
been running normally since it was last rebooted.

Any insight would be most appreciated.
