Re: [cobalt-users] KakWorm

A couple of hints for Outlook Express users. I am sure some of you already
know this but, for those who don't.

First, there is a security setting in OE that will prevent any script from
running via an email. I had mine on the lowest security setting and it
still warned me and I deleted the message without opening it and the others
who re posted it as well :) If you go to Options and select Security you
can change it to a restricted zone so that no scripts can run even if you
open the message.

Second, to prevent posting in HTML to this and any other list go to Options
and select Send. There you should un-check the check box labeled "Reply to
messages in the format which there were sent". You should also make sure
that the "Plain Text" radial button is active in the Mail Sending Format
section.

These two options plus a good anti virus checker should keep you from
getting a virus via Outlook Express and just as import should keep you from
sending it to someone else :)

Hope this helps
