RE: [cobalt-users] file access?

You don't have permission as root logging into WS_FTP Pro, only as admin. I
use WS_FTP Pro, and I haven't figured out yet how to login as root after
logging in as admin. You need to Telnet into the box, login as admin with
your password, then type 'su' at the first prompt, followed by your same
password. Then you are logged in as root and you can change whatever you
want - careful, though.

Mark.

Subject:	[cobalt-users] file access?

I am trying to change a name of a file in the
usr/local/majordomo/listname/lists directory.
I get the 500 error access denied when i try changing the name using WS_FTP
although I logged in as the administrator.
Can anyone help me?

Thank you.
