Hi guys-
Don't know if any of you would be interested in this BUT....
I've written a script which interfaces through a telnet package called
J-Term Pro (downloadable from the web). It basically saves you from having
to use the GUI to set up sites (as you are restricted by the speed of the
net).
I wrote it because I work for a company where we set up 50 sites+ per day on
our RaQ3s and to be honest the GUI was unacceptable for such large volumes -
it just took too long.
It is designed for users who don't really know that much about Unix and so
creates an easy to use interface and then does all the complicated unix
commands itself.
My script does the following:
Pop-up windows request virtual site name, size in mb, whether frontpage is
required, username, and password, and whether web/email forwarding is
required.
It then sets up DNS records, creates the virtual site, adds a site
administrator to that virtual site with the given username and password,
sets up web forwarding (if required) and also email forwarding.
My script is available for the mere price of $50.
If you interested, mail me at jody@xxxxxxxxxx
Kind regards,
Jody Sanders
