Of course it is, the problem with flaming is the resulting garbage is
always a thousand times worse than anythinf anyone could possibly have
done....

The vast majority of questons can be summarized in 1 or 2 sentences, if it
all fits on the screen it hardly matters where the reply gets posted,
really, it's silly...

It's not tho, it's people in some cases who should really know what the
results are going to be by now...
Reading through 40 messages to see 3 questions is tiresome , tends to make
people just hold down the delete key.....been there , done it....html
posts just get my delete key now too...takes more time to open the silly
things than it takes to read everything else....tho i think a much more
annoying thing noone even mentioned was someone posting 4K cryprographic
sigs on the list, yeash that makes a mess on the archives, not to mention
it's not terribly legal for some poor folks to recieve them...
*why* mailman can't drop the extra sigs i don't have a clue, it's got
thread tracers in the headers, it already knows when a message is a reply
to another one....
