[cobalt-users] Logs Question

Hi all
I am a little confused how log rotate works. I am using version for of
analog on each of my virtual sites, however on one of my busy sites the
stats seem to keep resetting i.e stats onle one or two days old. every thing
befor that seems to have gone.
I no that once web.log gets to a certain size it tars it up and creates a
file called web.log.1.gz (i have analog look at both these) b ut does the gz
file just get deleted when it gets to a certain size? or should it create
web.log.2.gz?
 Is there any where that will hAve the whole years ;logs for one site?
