In the ads_admin.pl
site# = your site number.

$adverts_dir = "/home/sites/site#/web/sales";

In ads.pl:
$adverts_dir = "/home/sites/site#/web/sales";

Make sure they match. Use full URL's for others such as 
$display_cgi = "http:// etc.

Make sure you upload as the admin for the site, not the server admin.
