As for the compile time warnings, just ignore them :-) A
critical error will cause the compile to stop and tell you why it
stopped. If the software builds then don't worry about them. The
error you saw isn't really an error, it's just a warning. The person
who wrote the program's style of writting code is different than the
compiler expects. No big deal.
As for the "change root to the user name..." you have to do
this. Just find the line that in logcheck.sh that says:
SYSADMIN=root
And then either change the word 'root' to 'admin' or just
put your ISP provided email address there - the choice is
your's. ie: SYSADMIN=MyEmail@xxxxxxxxxxx You do this in pico
(easiest to learn) or vi (best choice as vi is installed on just
about every Unix machine - pico is not).
