Hi people,
I have just installed a Qube2 in a clients site
which, like every Qube2 I have installed has required o/s level tweaking to get
it to work properly. I had a problem with mail not recognising the
recipients of external email because of the way the ISPs POP3 server was
changing the mail headers. I sorted this by adding the line
envelope "To" in /var/fetchmail/multidrop:localdomain to make
sendmail read the recipient info from the "To" string in the mail
header.
However, before I did this, my Qube2 started
sending an email to root as follows:
Subject:
Cron: <root@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> run-parts
/etc/cron.quarter-hourly
Body:
You must specify direct recipients with -s, -c, or
-b.
Although this appers to be coming from the perl
script which fetches the mail, I cannot see anything which relates to this
message.
Can anyone tell me what it means and how I can get
rid of it?
Any answers gratefully recieved,
Ian Nelson
