Same question here. The server is in my case just serving one single domain. So if the server (which is also used as the primary DNS) would not work there would anyway be no sense in the back-up-DNS (secondary).
Anyway, I use www.granitecanyon.com as secondary name server. They offer sec. NS for free. Nevertheless I would like to know if you could realize a secondary NS on the same machine as the Primary NS. Or: Does somebody know a way just NOT to use a secondary NS (Network Solutions for example forces you to enter a secondary DNS).
If you have any ideas, tips or a good link with a tutorial, please answer.
