[cobalt-users] Installing software on the RAQ2

Hey,
do you guys think, that it is possible to just download the MySQL-Sources, PHP4 Sources and Apache Sources and install them on the server without 1.) killing the warranty and 2.) without totally destroying the GUI and so.

I am tired of searching around in the experimental-dirs and waiting ages until Cobalt brings out PKGs for new versions. PHP3 is still not out as PKG, so that means that it will probably take like 2 years until PHP4 will come as .pkg.

And: If you guys think it works, does somebody have tips?
