Hi Hyrb,
We put out the updates on our web site only after full SQA testing, but we
announce them after we've packaged them up and before we've completed SQA
testing on the experimental server so that customers can have a more
immediate update. This is especially useful if a customer is having trouble
in that particular security area... they may be able to live with a couple
of bugs just to have the fix.
By all means wait until the update is released to the web site as a .pkg
file before you download it if you want the update after the full test
cycle.
Cheers,
Lyle
