Yeppers its very true.. I run 6 lists over at Topica <open plug> a
wonderful service. 5/14 AOL quietly placed a new filtering system, and
blocked (unlike it says in the several news reports I've read) 20-60% of
all Topica mail incoming to AOL members for 11 days. It has finally been
cleared up today, unlike it says in that article which was written I think
last Wed <G>

The Topica list owners banded together very professionally and let some
very high ups at AOL (addressed gleamed off the net in a very legal
fashion) how displeased they were. Topica did a fine job of keeping calm
and now states they have a good working relationship with AOL's spam team.

These are not people to mess with, just like the border patrol and the port
cops, they answer only unto themselves and do what they want.. WHEN they
want to.
