I have been using the cobalt backup utility for close to a year
without a hitch whatsoever. I do a full backup once a week and
incrementals every evening. The files are automatically sent via
ftp to a linux server when the backup has completed. I really
couldn't imagine a simpler solution.

I'm very interested also. I have two Raq2s with identical configurations. I want to make the second one be a standby for the first. Not a RAID set up as such, but so that I can unplug the production server and plug in the backup if/when necessary. I want to backup the first to the second every night or so. Any "gotchas" that I should be aware of? Can I do an FTP backup to this second server without special software?..cron?
