[cobalt-users] Installing PHP on a Raq3i

I have followed the instructions from the Cobalt Support site for
installing MySQL and PHP3 on the Raq3. I have updated the srm.conf file for
Apache, and restarted. I then attempt the "php.php3" test page, and the
server wants to send it back as a downloadable file. I then thought of the
modules that need to be loaded in httpd.conf and when I add the modules, I
am told that they can't be found. As I followed the steps exactly, am I
missing something? I know on my Linux box I would recompile Apache with PHP
support. But this is not listed in Cobalt's instructions. I'm sure this has
come up a fair bit here, and I'm sorry for reintroducing a subject that has
probably been visited many times.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
