Webalizer is great and will serve you well, but Analog is
installed on my RaQ2s and it's probably on your machines
too. Cobalt has the configuration file hacked up to work with the
GUI, but Analog will indeed provide the information you want and it
will do so very nicely - I won't suggest that you tweak the config
file as the warranty implications still scare me but you can run
Analog against a separate config file via a script or form the
command line. Being that it is more than likely running on your
machine it would be easiest and the fastest way to get what you
want. Might I suggest heading over to:
http://www.statslab.cam.ac.uk/~sret1/analog/
and getting yourself a copy of the original distributions
configuration file? Then whip up a two line shell script and drop it
into /etc/cron.daily (don't forget to make it executable) :
#!/bin/sh
/usr/local/sbin/analog +g/path/to/your/config.file
That's all there is to it.
Peace be with you,
Brent
