I think there is a command involving SHOW in the mysql command line. I'm new
to this too. There should be some HTML docs in you /usr/doc directory. I
also purchased the O'Reilly book on it, very helpful!

Is there a way I can see the permissions set on a database? kinda like ls -l
from command line.
