After my original struggle with ignorance, I'm quite happy (gasp!) with
Outlook 2000. I set up a rule to move all messages with subjects containing
"[cobalt-users]" and "[qube-users]" to a separate sub-folder of my Inbox,
then I told Outlook to thread that folder (called View By Conversation in
Outlook-speak).
Works like a charm. I've now done the same thing to three other types of
traffic, and it's saving me half an hour a day. My thanks to Dom and Jeff
for mentioning the concept.
One caveat, expected: if the subject line changes by even one character, the
client considers it a new thread. Is or isn't exactly the same to the
computer...
