Re: [cobalt-users] Raq 2 Memory Upgrade

I use Kingmax Tech Int. Tiny BGA PC133 memory in all my servers and
workstations that don't need registered SDRAM modules. I have NEVER had one
of these KTI modules go bad on me, plus they have a lifetime warranty, and
cost $140 from Dallas Memory International for a 128mb stick. Can't go
wrong in my opinion, and it leaves some room for upgrade with the 133Mhz
speed.

I have not tested KTI memory in my Raq3 since I bought it with the max
amount pre-installed.

I just found 128mb sticks for $117 from http://www.openlinx.net though I
have never done business with them.

http://dallasmemory.com is where I buy almost all my memory. Great people
to do business with. If you don't trust my opinion, Dallas Memory also
carries top brand names as Micron and Siemens for around the same price for
the same configuration.

Visit http://www.kingmax.com/product/p01.html if you want to read up on the
Tiny Ball Grid Array (BGA) memory.
